Yes — and that’s the whole point of Sorta Done. I only share things I’ve actually used, genuinely like, or would actually buy for myself. Some posts contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what I recommend. A bad product stays off this site, commission or not.

An affiliate link is a special URL that lets the retailer (like Amazon) know a sale came from my recommendation. It costs you exactly nothing extra — the price you pay is the same whether you click through my link or go directly to the site. The commission comes out of the retailer’s end, not yours. It’s basically a small thank-you from them for sending a customer their way.

I only write about things in one of two situations: I’ve used it myself and have real experience with it, or the research and reviews are overwhelmingly positive and it fits something I’d genuinely consider buying. I try to be specific about which is which. If I haven’t personally used something, I’ll say so. If I have, I’ll tell you exactly what I think — including the parts that aren’t perfect.

I do work with brands on a case-by-case basis — but only for products I’d genuinely use or recommend. I won’t promote something I wouldn’t personally stand behind, no matter what’s offered.
